A Breaking Rain

This image was captured on April 11th, 2008 after heavy rains forced the Table Rock Dam to open its flood gates to release a record setting 46,500 cubic feet of water per second. The event was one of the few times in the Dam’s history that all ten gates were opened and nearly twice as much water shed as the previous record.
